Using Phone-specific Features
Your phone provides CK3100 management and settings from the Parrot screen. Also refer to the Standard Features section.
User-initiated automatic synchronisation:
To make it compatible and get your phonebook into the carkit, you need to install a third party
software on this phone: Nokia 810 Contact Download application.
How to install this software on your phone ?
You need to install it on your phone with a PC with Bluetooth connectivity (such as a Bluetooth Dongle).
Please follow these steps :
- Please pair your phone to the car kit and switch off your engine.
- Launch the bluetooth manager that is provided with the Bluetooth Dongle's software.
- Find all the bluetooth devices and select your phone.
- Use the OBEX FILE TRANSFER feature of your phone.
- Define a Bluetooth PIN code.
- A window will appear on your phone, enter the same bluetooth PIN code.
- Send The software you have downloaded to your phone. Don't forget to accept the file transfer on your phone.
- You will receive a message on your phone. Open it and follow the instructions. Wait until the download is finished.
- If the installation is succesful you should find an icon with a car and a computer.
Once you have installed the specific software on your phone :
- Please make sure your phone is paired to the car kit.
- Switch off your car kit.
- On your phone go to the MENU screen.
- Select the software you have installed : the icon with a car and a computer.
- Select the OPTIONS command.
- Select OPEN command.
- Select the OPTIONS command again.
- Select OPEN command.
- Then switch on your engine.
- Wait until the car kit tell you the end of the synchronization.
- You can now assign voice tags. Refer to the voice commands menu.
NOTE: At the end of the phonebook synchronization errors messages migth appear. Please ignore them.
User-initiated automatic synchronisation:
- Sending contacts and photo associated one-by-one to the CK3100.
- First of all, with the CK3100, click SETTINGS -> CONTACTS MANAGEMENT -> RECEIVE CONTACTS.
- Then with the Nokia 6600, click on MENU, and select CONTACTS.
- Select the contact you want to send over Bluetooth (SEARCH, and then DETAILS).
- Select OPTIONS, select SEND, click write, select VIA BLUETOOTH and select ALL CONTACT DATA.
- Select CK3100, press SELECT (waiting...).
- The contact and its picture is now added to the phone book.
- Picture and name will be displayed for an incoming call.
- You can now assign voice tags. Refer to the Voice commands Menu.
| NOTE: Make sure the Bluetooth® option is turned ON.
